kluk-mail: политика конфиденциальности

kluk-mail — почтовый клиент для Mac от студии kluk. Здесь описано, какие данные приложение обрабатывает и куда они уходят.

Почта остаётся на вашем Mac

  • Письма, вложения и адресная книга загружаются с сервера вашего почтового провайдера прямо на Mac по IMAP и отправляются через его SMTP. Наших серверов для писем нет, копий писем у нас нет.
  • Пароли и ключи входа Google хранятся только в Связке ключей macOS.
  • Если вы разрешите доступ к «Контактам» macOS, приложение берёт оттуда фото отправителей. Эти данные тоже не покидают Mac.

ИИ работает на устройстве

Сортировка по важности, поиск по смыслу и проверка на мошенничество выполняются локальными моделями на вашем Mac. Тексты писем никуда не отправляются. История запросов к ИИ хранится только на Mac, её можно удалить в приложении. Сами модели один раз скачиваются с Hugging Face при первом запуске; при этом Hugging Face видит только запрос на скачивание файла модели.

Вход через Google (Gmail)

Для ящика Gmail приложение просит доступ https://mail.google.com/, а также openid, email и profile: email нужен, чтобы узнать адрес ящика, profile используется только для того, чтобы показать фото аккаунта. Доступ нужен только для того, чтобы получать, показывать, сортировать и отправлять вашу собственную почту по IMAP и SMTP в этом приложении. Ключ входа хранится в Связке ключей и обменивается только с Google.

Использование и передача в любое другое приложение информации, полученной от API Google, соответствуют Правилам использования пользовательских данных сервисов Google API, включая требования ограниченного использования (Limited Use). В частности:

  • данные Gmail используются только для функций приложения, которые вы видите;
  • они не продаются, не используются для рекламы и не передаются третьим лицам, кроме случаев, описанных в разделе «Аватары и картинки»;
  • люди не читают ваши письма;
  • данные Gmail не используются для обучения моделей ИИ.

Отозвать доступ можно в любой момент в настройках аккаунта Google.

Аватары и картинки

Чтобы Mac не обращался к чужим серверам, аватары отправителей и картинки из интернета в письмах приложение получает через наш сервис avatars.kluk.one (Cloudflare Worker). Он получает:

  • хэш SHA-256 адреса отправителя, чтобы найти его аватар на Gravatar;
  • домен отправителя, чтобы найти логотип BIMI или значок сайта. Только для отправителей, чей домен подтвердил ваш почтовый сервер;
  • адрес картинки из письма, если картинки в этом письме показываются. Известные трекеры и однопиксельные картинки не запрашиваются;
  • адрес вашего ящика Mail.ru (маршрут /mailru), чтобы показать фото этого аккаунта;
  • IP-адрес вашего Mac, как любой сервер в интернете.

Сами письма, темы и тексты в этот сервис не уходят. Полный адрес уходит только один: адрес вашего ящика Mail.ru для фото аккаунта. Запросы мы не записываем: журналы и аналитика в Worker отключены. Готовые картинки хранятся в кэше Cloudflare до 7 дней без привязки к пользователю. Gravatar и сайты отправителей видят запрос от Cloudflare, а не от вас.

Чего нет

В приложении нет аналитики, рекламы и трекеров. Мы ничего не продаём и не передаём ваши данные рекламодателям.

Как удалить данные

Все данные приложения лежат в папке ~/Library/Application Support/kluk-mail, пароли и ключи входа — в Связке ключей macOS. Удалите приложение, эту папку и записи one.kluk.mail в «Связке ключей», и на Mac ничего не останется. На наших серверах ваших данных нет.

kluk-mail Privacy Policy

kluk-mail is a mail client for Mac made by studio kluk. This page explains what data the app handles and where it goes.

Your mail stays on your Mac

  • Messages, attachments and contacts are downloaded from your mail provider's server straight to your Mac over IMAP and sent through its SMTP. We run no mail servers and keep no copies of your mail.
  • Passwords and Google sign-in tokens are stored only in the macOS Keychain.
  • If you allow access to macOS Contacts, the app uses it for sender photos. That data stays on your Mac too.

AI runs on your device

Importance sorting, meaning-based search and scam checks run on local models on your Mac. Message content is not sent anywhere. Your AI request history is stored only on your Mac and can be deleted in the app. The models are downloaded once from Hugging Face on first launch; Hugging Face sees only the download request for the model files.

Google sign-in (Gmail)

For a Gmail account the app requests the https://mail.google.com/ scope, plus openid, email and profile: email tells the app the mailbox address, and profile is used only to show the account's photo. This access is used only to fetch, display, organize and send your own mail over IMAP and SMTP in this app. The sign-in token is kept in the Keychain and exchanged only with Google.

kluk-mail's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

  • Gmail data is used only to provide the features you see in the app;
  • it is not sold, not used for advertising, and not transferred to third parties except as described under "Avatars and images";
  • no person reads your mail;
  • Gmail data is not used to train AI models.

You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account settings.

Avatars and images

So that your Mac never contacts other people's servers, the app gets sender avatars and remote images in messages through our service avatars.kluk.one (a Cloudflare Worker). It receives:

  • the SHA-256 hash of the sender's address, to look up their Gravatar;
  • the sender's domain, to look up a BIMI logo or site icon, only for senders whose domain your mail server has verified;
  • the address of an image in a message, when images in that message are shown. Known trackers and one-pixel images are never requested;
  • the address of your Mail.ru mailbox (route /mailru), to show that account's photo;
  • your Mac's IP address, as any server on the internet does.

Messages, subjects and message text are never sent to this service. The only full address it receives is your own Mail.ru mailbox address, for the account photo. We do not record requests: logs and analytics are turned off in the Worker. Fetched images stay in Cloudflare's cache for up to 7 days, not linked to any user. Gravatar and sender websites see a request from Cloudflare, not from you.

What we don't do

The app has no analytics, no ads and no trackers. We sell nothing and share no data with advertisers.

Deleting your data

All app data lives in ~/Library/Application Support/kluk-mail, and passwords and sign-in tokens in the macOS Keychain. Delete the app, that folder and the one.kluk.mail items in Keychain Access, and nothing remains on your Mac. We hold none of your data on our servers.
